Hi, I'm Tristan, a software engineer, designer, and most importantly, an avid birder. Raised in the suburbs of Paris and now living in Minnesota, I draw inspiration from my diverse background to create appealing and functional products. From back-end software to websites, I make sure thoughtful designs are used to solve real users problems while continuing my studies in Computer Science and UX Design.
Grew up in France where I completed my entire education up to middle school, before moving to the United States, with my family.
Attended Central HS in Saint-Paul, MN where I obtained both my International Baccalaureate Diploma and High School degree with a focus on computer science classes.
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science along with a Minor in UX Design from the University of Minnesota, while maintaining my passion for birds by working at the Gabbert Raptor Center.
In a time where everything can be done instantly for you by AI, it's difficult to find someone with the knowledge to build something from the ground up by themselves. This is why I designed and coded this portfolio website from scratch. Feel free to wander around to look at some of my work and remember that this is still a learning process so don't hesitate to reach out with any comments or bug reports that you may have. Below are some key features of this website—features that can sometimes be hard to find when you need them the most, enjoy! (blog page is coming soon!)
Fully responsive, this website allows for a common experience shared across all screen sizes. If you think this is not the case, don't hesitate to reach and I will make sure to accomodate it for your device
Making sure a product is accessible to all users is one of my top priorities. This website is optimized for screen readers and designed to meet accessibility standards for all users
Blog page, improved filters, better contact navigation, are amongst the many ideas I have to improve this website. Make sure to come back regularly to enjoy new features and improved design (roadmap coming soon...)
Showcasing your work and abilities is a skill that takes practice. With clearly separated areas, the work presented here is divided in two big sections, making it easy to flip through.
Very self-explanatory, nobody likes to burn their eyes will scrolling online so a light or dark mode is good feature to account for user preferences
